How does she make up for it? By launching an ungodly number of arrows.īow and Crossbow: If you're going full speed version with the seven frames per attack setup, since you won't be taking advantage of Amplified damage there, and relying on Magic Arrow instead, the main attacks we will be using are straight down the middle of the tree with magic Arrow, we get enough to reduce the cost to a reasonable level or if you're feeling frisky, you can Max it out to boost the conversion percent, in multi shots since we're using it as our main attack we go with enough to get the skill to level 23 with our equipment on, since this caps out at 24 arrows, but continues in Mana cost, just going up, that said if you're playing strafes on instead, you'll actually want to Max this out, especially if they fix strafe since it just boosts the strafe damage, they'd cap the multi-shot cost at 26 Mana, for Guided Arrow, since we're focusing on the physical and it's a backward Synergy for Multi Shot, we go ahead and Max this out which provides us with exceptionally cheap casting costs, decent damage, and an okay single Target skill that always hits well unless it gets blocked, since it can bypass defense but not Shields, and finally we have Strafe, you may notice mine is only level 19, we will probably bump it up to 20 if we're still playing this build whenever we get that next level we're so close to, this is a nice skill to have for a few reasons even with the bug, while we do use multi-shot for most the background footage, we did break this out for its best case uses which is enemies like Golems, where it can track them much sooner than my mediocre old man reflexes can spot them, that and it's a great tool for triggering Amplified damage on act bosses and such since they get hit once every sixth of a second or basically every other arrow, for my setup, we did pack in Max freezing arrow for a safety pick since we're testing this with various gear setups, and it is easily one of our favorite Amazon's secondary damage skills, and if you don't have a way to deal with physical immunes packing this with any number of freezing Arrow budget options can really make a solid support tool. The Bowazon is an interesting build in D2R - a lot more capable than people give it credit for, with a number of budget options, but does struggle with many of the same things your other physical characters do - such as chance to hit.
